Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today said Hindus and Muslims were equal to him and described the two communities as "two eyes" of the State.
Speaking at the Minorities Excellence Summit held at Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan in Banjara Hills today, the Chief Minister said former Congress president Sonia Gandhi had demonstrated through her actions that Hindus and Muslims were equally important.
Revanth Reddy said the Congress party deserved credit for implementing 4 per cent reservation for minorities in Telangana.
Referring to BJP leader Amit Shah's earlier statement that the reservation would be removed if the BJP came to power in the State, he said the Congress had effectively implemented the quota.
