New Delhi, May 8 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today said Operation Sindoor reflected India's "collective resolve and new military ethos", describing it as a "short-duration, deep-penetration, high-intensity and high-impact" operation that demonstrated the country's ability to compel its adversary to back down.

Addressing the second edition of the Joint Commanders' Conference in Jaipur, Singh called on the armed forces to remain prepared for evolving threats amid growing geopolitical uncertainty and stressed that future conflicts would increasingly be shaped by technological innovation and inter-service coordination.
