Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Observing that every individual has the right to travel abroad and choose his medical treatment, the Supreme Court on Monday permitted Trinamool Congress leader and MP Abhishek Banerjee to travel abroad for three weeks in September for treatment of his eye, while directing him to furnish his complete travel and treatment details to the investigating agency - West Bengal Police.
A Bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana, while allowing Banerjee's plea, observed, "Every individual has a right to travel abroad.
