Lucknow, Oct. 27 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday claimed that,"the truth is, the BJP will lose the day the election dates are announced to the assembly. This fear of defeat is forcing them to resort to dishonesty and manipulation in the ongoing MLC elections in Uttar Pradesh".
Addressing the media here, he alleged that in Lucknow, it was reported that unfolded ballot papers were found inside ballot boxes at booth number 97.
"This is simply impossible! Imagine the scale of their conspiracy. People's votes were being cancelled under the pretext of SIR and BJP doing everything to win the elections," he said.
