Bhubaneswar, May 18 -- In a major citizen-centric governance initiative, the Odisha government will soon launch the "Ama Gaan Re Ama Tahasil" (Tahasil at Doorstep) programme to ensure the delivery of key revenue services directly to people in villages and panchayats across the state.

The decision was announced during a high-level review meeting chaired by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, who said the programme aims to make revenue administration more accessible, transparent, and responsive by taking Tahasil services to the grassroots level.
