, April 2 -- year-old man suffered burn injuries as a fire broke from an apparent gas cylinder leak at a house in Jatrabari area in the capital on Wednesday night.

The victim was identified as Mushfiqur Rahman.

The fire broke out around 10:15pm on the second floor of Police Tower at Samad Nagar Bhangapress, leaving Mishfiqur injured.

Later, he was taken to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 11:30pm, said Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp.
