Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- year-old man was shot and injured in the capital's Uttar Badda area on Saturday night.

The victim was identified as Md Rana, son of late Abdur Rob. Hailing from Noakhali's Maijdee, he has been living in the Kazibari area of Natun Bazar under Vatara Police Station and works as a driver.

The victim said he went to the house of his brother Joy at Moynarbagh behind Hossain Market in the afternoon.

Around 10:00pm, someone knocked on the door, he said, adding that when they asked who it was, there was no response from outside.
