Dhaka, Sept. 29 -- Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan on Tuesday urged the country's young people to prepare themselves to build the nation, calling it their biggest responsibility.

"The time to go to war belongs to those who are young now. This is not a war of arms; it is a battle to build a developed Bangladesh. Ensuring a beautiful future for the country's vast population is the greatest responsibility before the youth," he said.

The minister made the remarks while addressing the "Graduation Ceremony-2026" of the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) as the chief guest at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh auditorium in the capital.
