Khulna, July 9 -- Members of Railway Police arrested a young man along with three gold bars, weighing 572.92 grams, from the Khulna Railway Station on Wednesday.

The arrestee was identified as Masud Molla, hailing from Kalia upazila in Narail district.

Police challenged Masud after noticing his suspicious movement in the railway station and found three gold bars after searching his bag, said Officer-in-Charge of Khulna Railway Station Police Setu Salam Khan.

The market value of the seized gold bar is Tk 1.10 crore, he said.
