Dhaka, Oct. 9 -- World Mental Health Day 2026 will be observed in Bangladesh and other countries on Saturday with the theme "Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change".

The day is observed every year on October 10 to raise awareness about mental health and educate the public about related issues.

On the occasion, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman have issued separate messages.

In his message, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said he welcomed the initiative to observe World Mental Health Day 2026 in Bangladesh, alongside other countries.
