Tangail, Sept. 26 -- No leniency will be shown to those creating anarchy and they will be dealt with firmly, ICT Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam said on Saturday.

"Any attempt to destabilize the country through planned acts of violence will be resisted by the people," he said.

The ICT Minister made the remarks while addressing a mass procession and protest rally held in Tangail's Dhanbari, protesting attempts to destabilize the country through planned acts of violence.

The minister said the Prime Minister had clearly announced that no leniency would be shown to those creating anarchy and that they would be dealt with firmly.
