Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- year-old woman has succumbed to head injuries she sustained allegedly after being pushed during a family dispute involving her stepbrother and his wife in the capital's Basabo area.

The deceased was identified as Afroza Irene, daughter of Anwar Ullah of Ekhlaspur village in Faridganj upazila of Chandpur. She lived with her husband Belal Hossain in a rented house in Ahmedbagh area of Basabo.

Police recovered the body from Mugda Medical College Hospital on Wednesday afternoon and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue on Thursday morning for an autopsy.
