Dhaka, Aug. 19 -- Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Wednesday assured that Qatar would extend all possible support to Bangladesh in ensuring energy security, particularly under the current challenging circumstances.

He described Bangladesh as a brotherly country when Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman called on the Qatari Prime Minister at his office in Doha.

During the meeting, Dr Khalilur Rahman conveyed the greetings of Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to the Qatari leadership.
