Dhaka, May 7 -- Bangladesh Waqf Administrator Safiz Uddin Ahmed met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday morning.

The meeting was held at his Cabinet Division office in the Secretariat, according to the Prime Minister's Press Wing.

Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad), MP Shamim Kaiser Lincoln and Religious Affairs Secretary Munshi Alauddin Al Azad were present at the meeting.

The Bangladesh Waqf Administration works on the management and welfare-oriented use of waqf properties across the country.
