Dhaka, July 26 -- The last surviving victim of the gas explosion caused by a gas line leak at a house in the Natun Bazar area under Vatara Police Station of the capital died on Saturday night, a day after her husband and niece passed away from injuries sustained in the incident.

The deceased was identified as Fahima, 21. She died around 9:45pm while receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Her husband Md Shaheen, 24, and their eight-year-old niece Hafsa died earlier from injuries they suffered in the same incident. With this, all the burn victims succumbed to their injuries.
