Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen on Thursday highlighted how constant debate, the continuous search for consensus, and the American Constitution's emphasis the separation of powers, judicial independence, and the right to keep adding amendments has resulted in a resilient Constitution that has inspired democracies around the world for over 200 years.

He joined Law Minister Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Abdus Salam and constitutional experts, academics, and students at Dhaka University's Senate Hall to mark US Constitution Day, said US Mission Spokesperson Poornima Rai.
