, March 12 -- An unidentified man was found dead near Duran Nagar Bridge in Sreepur upazila of Magura district on Thursday.

Local people spotted the body of the man, aged about 60, in the morning and informed police.

Police later recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Shahin Mia, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station.

Local people suspected that the man might have died in an accident.

A case was filed with Sreepur Police Station in this regard.
