UNDP Resident Representative meets PM, discusses dev cooperation
, June 4 -- Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh Stefan Liller met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday and discussed issues related to sustainable development, education, healthcare and employment.
They also discussed ways to strengthen ongoing cooperation between Bangladesh and the UN agency, said PM's Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Shiplu.
He said the meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office at the Bangladesh Secretariat in the morning.
During the meeting, Shiplu said, both sides exchanged views on a range of development issues and stressed the importance of making Bangladesh's development efforts more inclusive, effective and sustainable.
