Dhaka, July 28 -- Two people were killed and at least six others injured after a boundary wall of Mirpur University College collapsed on Tuesday while dozens of people were standing in a queue to collect Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) essential commodities.

One of the deceased was identified as Nasima Begum.

Quoting Rubel, son-in-law of injured Razia Begum, Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of the police camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said many people were standing in a queue to collect TCB products.

Suddenly, the boundary wall at the back of the college collapsed around 1:00pm, leaving eight people injured.
