Mymensingh, Nov. 7 -- Two garment workers were killed and at least 10 others were injured in a head-on collision between a dump truck and a pickup on the Kanurampur-Trishal road in Nandail upazila of Mymensingh district on Saturday night.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, but police said both victims were male.

A group of garment workers was returning to Gazipur from Netrokona in a pickup after a two-day holiday. When the vehicle reached the Nauri area around 8:00pm, a speeding dump truck coming from the opposite direction rammed into it head-on, leaving two dead on the spot and ten others injured, police said.
