, May 31 -- A motorcycle that had fulfilled a young man's long-cherished dream turned into a symbol of tragedy after a fatal road accident claimed the lives of two friends in Dinajpur.

The deceased were identified as Jabir Khaled, 18, the only son of eye surgeon Dr Ashraf Khaled Sagar of BNSB Eye Hospital in Chirirbandar, and Riyad Hossain, son of Dulal Hossain of Baikunthapur Shahapara under Tetulia union in the same upazila.

Both victims were Class-XI students at Amena Baki Model Residential School and College in Chirirbandar.
