Two detained with 2.9 lakh Yaba tablets in Teknaf
Dhaka, July 1 -- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 2.9 lakh Yaba tablets and detained two alleged drug traffickers in separate operations along the Shah Porir Dwip and Nazirpara borders in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar on Wednesday.
According to BGB, members of the Shah Porir Dwip Border Outpost (BOP) under Teknaf Battalion (2 BGB) conducted a special operation on the Naf River at around 1:45am, acting on intelligence inputs.

Using technical surveillance, they detected a suspicious boat approaching from the Myanmar border. Shortly afterwards, a man was spotted attempting to enter Bangladesh by swimming with two sacks. Later, he was detained by a BGB naval patrol team.
