Dhaka, June 6 -- Visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday and discussed issues of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon in the morning, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibly said.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest, including matters relating to bilateral relations and cooperation between Bangladesh and Turkiye, he said.
