, March 12 -- Traffic movement in several parts of the capital will be diverted on Thursday morning to facilitate the movement of dignitaries attending the first session of the 13th Parliament at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The President, the Prime Minister, members of parliament, foreign diplomats, leaders of various political parties and other dignitaries are expected to attend the session, according to a notice issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Due to the event, a higher volume of vehicles is likely to pass through Urojahaj Mor, Khejur Bagan, Manik Mia Avenue, Asad Gate and the July Memorial Museum (Ganabhaban) intersection, which may cause temporary traffic congestion in nearby areas.
