, March 28 -- import activities at Sonamasjid land port resumed on Saturday after ten days of suspension due to Eid-ul-Fitr, Independence Day holiday.

Ruhul Amin, member secretary of C&F Agent Association, said trade activities remained suspended from March 18 to March 27.

However, the goods-laden trucks from India started to enter the port from Saturday following the resumption of the port activities.

Meanwhile, passenger movement with valid passports remained normal during this period.
