, March 16 -- Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh Thitiporn Chirasawadi paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Bank Governor Mohammad Mostaqur Rahman on Monday and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral trade and institutional cooperation.

The meeting was held at the central bank headquarters where the two sides exchanged views on expanding trade, increasing investment and simplifying the export-import settlement process between the two countries.

During the meeting also stressed the importance of expert-level knowledge exchange and strengthening technical capacity to make financial transactions more efficient.
