Dhaka, April 23 -- The Shahanshah Hazrat Syed Ziaul Huq Maizbhandari Trust (SZHMT) is set to organise the "SZHMT 8th International Sufi Conference 2026" on December 9-11, 2026 in Chattogram.

The theme of this year's conference is "Tasawwuf, Social Harmony and World Peace."

The international conference aims to bring together distinguished scholars, researchers, Sufi practitioners, and intellectuals from home and abroad to explore the role of Tasawwuf (Sufism) in addressing contemporary global challenges such as conflict, inequality, extremism, and social fragmentation.
