Dhaka, June 22 -- The popular tourist destination Sada Pathor in Companiganj upazila of Sylhet has been reopened for visitors after a suspension of travel due to rising water levels caused by heavy rainfall and upstream hill torrents.

The site was reopened on Monday morning after remaining closed for a day, allowing tourists from Sylhet and other parts of the country to resume visits, said Companiganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Robin.

The water levels have now receded and conditions have returned to normal for tourist movement, he said.
