Gopalganj, Feb. 24 -- A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Muksudpur Upazila, Gopalganj, Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in the Nishitola area of Muksudpur. The deceased has been identified as Rafsan (16), son of Md. Zahidur Rahman of Muksudpur Sadar.

Police and family sources said Rafsan was riding his motorcycle to attend a family matter when a loaded truck coming from the opposite direction collided with him. He sustained severe injuries in the crash.
