Dhaka, May 30 -- A prayer and Milad Mahfil was held at Masjidul Jami'a, the Central Mosque of the University of Dhaka, after Asr prayers today to mark the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

Before the prayers, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A.B.M. Obaidul Islam delivered a brief speech highlighting the life and contributions of Ziaur Rahman.
