Dhaka, Oct. 28 -- The Special Committee on Constitutional Amendment of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad held its ninth meeting on Wednesday, with participants calling for constitutional amendments to prevent enforced disappearances, strengthen the justice system and ensure justice for victims and their families.

The meeting was held at the Cabinet Room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, with committee Chairman and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed in the chair.

Committee members Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman, Information Minister Andaleeve Rahman, State Minister for Social Welfare Farzana Sharmin, State Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Md Nurul Hoque and Advocate Zainul Abedin attended the meeting.
