Dhaka, Sept. 27 -- The Parliamentary Special Committee on Constitution Amendment will prepare its report by December 2026, according to a decision taken at its third meeting on Sunday.

The meeting was held at the Cabinet Room of the Sangsad Bhaban with committee Chairman and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed in the chair.

Editors of various national dailies and representatives of the National Press Club and news agencies also attended the meeting and placed their proposals on various issues related to the amendment of the Constitution, according to a press release.

The parliamentary body requested those who have any written proposals on the issue beyond their discussion at the meeting to send those to the committee.
