Dhaka, May 9 -- Industry leaders, policymakers and development partners on Saturday stressed the urgent need for structural reforms, railway-port connectivity and private sector involvement in port operations to overhaul Bangladesh's costly and fragmented logistics system.

The call came at a roundtable titled 'Integrated Port and Logistics Development for a Trade-Driven Bangladesh,' organised by the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) at its auditorium in the capital.
