Sangsad Bhaban, July 7 -- Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain came under public scrutiny in Parliament on Tuesday after Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad interrupted proceedings to draw his attention to a question being raised by a lawmaker, highlighting what appeared to be the minister's lack of attention in the House.

The incident occurred during the call attention notice on the issues of public importance when Bilkis Islam, an BNP MP from the reserved women's seat-7, sought the Health Minister's attention over the reconstruction of the boundary wall and the overall development of a hospital in Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari district.
