Dhaka, Nov. 4 -- 2026 winner Runa Khan has assured Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal of her organisation Friendship's support for improving the living conditions of people in the haor areas of Netrokona.

She gave the assurance during a courtesy meeting with the Deputy Speaker at his office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Kayser Kamal congratulated Runa Khan on receiving the prestigious international award, saying that the achievement of a Bangladeshi citizen was a matter of pride for the entire nation.

He said international recognition of people working for human welfare and social development would encourage others to engage in public welfare activities.
