Sirajganj, May 26 -- Thousands of Eid holidaymakers are returning home in the northern region comfortably through the Sirajganj corridor ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, enjoying a smooth and hassle-free journey despite heavy traffic pressure on roads.

Since early Tuesday, long-route buses, trucks, microbuses and other vehicles have been moving steadily through the district, known as the main gateway to the northern region. However, unlike previous years, no major traffic congestion was seen on the highways, bringing relief to passengers and drivers alike.

Commuters said improved road infrastructure and strict traffic management helped ensure uninterrupted travel this Eid.
