Dhaka, Feb. 24 -- Singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel has been granted bail in a case filed over allegations of fraud involving a young woman on Tuesday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Raju Ahmed approved his bail, with the condition that he reach a settlement with the complainant.

Nobel was produced before the court by police in the afternoon.

Anannya Shabnam Roz (Anannya), plaintiff in the case, was also present in court during the hearing.

Nobel's lawyer, Md. Rana Sheikh, filed the bail petition on his behalf.

During the hearing, the court inquired if both parties were willing to settle.

Both Nobel and Anannya agreed, following which the bail was granted.
