Dhaka, Sept. 5 -- Shahin Chowdhury of Daily Tripura Express and Masum Billah of Daily Jugasankha have been elected president and general secretary, respectively, of the Indian Media Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (IMCAB).

The new executive committee of IMCAB was elected unopposed on Friday for the 2026-2027 term, said a press release.

The other elected office-bearers are Vice President Razib Khan of TV9, Joint General Secretary Mir Afroz Zaman of United News of India (UNI), Treasurer Abu Ali of Amar Asam, and Organizing Secretary Aminul Haque Bhuiyan of News Vanguard.
