Dhaka, July 10 -- Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's new national carrier, on Thursday opened ticket sales for daily direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh, with operations set to begin on August 7, aiming to strengthen connectivity between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia while offering convenient onward links to destinations across West Asia (aka the Middle East) and Europe.

The new route will connect Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) with King Khalid International Airport (RUH), responding to growing demand for business, leisure and transit travel between South Asia and the Gulf region.

The airline said the service will be operated by its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, featuring modern cabin interiors and upgraded onboard services.
