Dhaka, April 27 -- Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation Md Abdus Salam on Monday said residents of newly added areas under the city corporation will need to make certain compromises to facilitate planned road construction and civic infrastructure development.

He said the temporary inconveniences would ultimately improve living standards and significantly increase the value of properties in those areas once the infrastructure development is completed.

The remarks came while inaugurating road development works in Southgaon and Nandipara areas under DSCC Zone-6 at a programme held on Monday.
