Dhaka, Aug. 20 -- Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Thursday said China stands ready to strengthen cooperation with all political parties in Bangladesh.

He made the remarks when members of the newly established Sub-Committee for International Relations of the National Citizen Party (NCP) met him at the Chinese Embassy in the capital.

The two sides exchanged views on Bangladesh-China relations, inter-party exchanges and youth cooperation, among other issues of common interest, said the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.

Ambassador Yao congratulated the NCP on the establishment of its Sub-Committee for International Relations.
