Dhaka, April 20 -- arm pacer Nahid Rana scalped five wickets using pure pace to dismiss New Zealand for 198, setting Bangladesh a 199-run target to level the three-match ODI series in Mirpur on Monday.

Rana's clinical performance came just 48 hours after a difficult series opener in which he conceded 65 runs. Rebounding as a primary strike bowler, he delivered a barrage of high-velocity deliveries, with all five of his wicket-taking balls exceeding 140 kmph.

After senior bowlers Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed built early pressure, Rana provided the breakthrough with his very first delivery in the eighth over, trapping Henry Nicholls leg before wicket with a 144.7 kmph strike.
