Rainy weather likely to persist across Bangladesh over next 5 days: BMD
, June 30 -- Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning are likely to occur across the country over the next five days, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in its 120-hour forecast on Tuesday morning.
According to the regular bulletin issued by the weather office, the trough of low pressure lies over Gangetic West Bengal to the Northwest Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over the North Bay.
