Dhaka, April 1 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted rains in parts of the country in 24 hours from 9 am Wednesday.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are likely at one or two places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, said a Met office bulletin.
The weather is expected to remain mainly dry in other parts of the country, with a temporary partly cloudy sky likely to prevail, said a Met office bulletin.
Meanwhile, both day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country, with an increase of around 1 to 2 degrees Celsius expected, the bulletin added.
