, Oct. 13 -- Strongly condemning the harassment of former Interim Government Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport in New York, the United States, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir said on Tuesday that Bangladesh would raise the matter strongly with the US government to ensure that necessary action is taken by law enforcement agencies.

"This kind of harassment, whether against him or any citizen of the country, is totally unacceptable. The government of Bangladesh will take it up very strongly (with the US govt)," he told reporters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
