, Nov. 1 -- President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday called for expanding skills-based training, providing financial support to small entrepreneurs and creating employment opportunities for young people to harness the country's demographic dividend.

He made the call while addressing, as the chief guest, the inaugural ceremony of the National Youth Day 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
