Dhaka, June 16 -- The respected mother of Premier Bank's Managing Director, Md. Monzur Mofiz, late Ayesha Begum, passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 78 due to old-age complications at her residence in Bakalia, Chattogram.

She is survived by two sons, two daughters, relatives, well-wishers and numerous admirers.

For her significant contributions in social and religious spheres, she was regarded with deep respect and admiration across all communities.
