Dhaka, Aug. 3 -- The Power Division on Monday dismissed allegations of widespread excessive electricity billing as "misinformation", saying complaints received from consumers have already been resolved by the division and the power distribution companies.

In a statement, the Power Division said certain individuals or groups have been spreading misleading information regarding excessive electricity bills and strongly protested such claims.
