, March 2 -- A survey carried out shortly after the United States and Israel launched a major military operation against Iran suggests that only about a quarter of Americans support the attacks, highlighting weak public approval amid a widening regional conflict.
The Reuters-Ipsos poll was conducted from Saturday to Sunday, before President Donald Trump's administration confirmed that the first US troops had been killed. Results showed that just one in four respondents approved of the US-Israeli strikes.
