Dhaka, July 5 -- Police arrested an alleged robber and listed criminal during a special drive in the Pallabi area of the capital on Saturday and recovered a locally made sharp weapon from his possession.

The arrestee was identified as Md Munna, alias Red Munna, 36.

He was arrested at around 2:30 pm from the Bawniabad Muchipara area under Pallabi.

According to Pallabi Police Station, a police team conducted the raid based on a tip-off in Section-11 of the Bawniabad Muchipara area and arrested Munna. A sharp knife was seized from his possession during the operation.
